Barton & Co., New York
It is unclear who the principles of Barton & Co. were. Both William Barton and Joseph Barton are listed as printers in the New York directories of the 1850's.
Barton & Co. was at 111 Fulton in 1859.
In 1860-1861 it was at 97 Cliff Street.
By 1863-1864 Barton & Son was located at 111 Fulton.
Of interest is that George R. Mooney, also a new York publisher, was at 111 Fulton between 1859-1862 and at 97 Cliff Street in 1863. The relationship between the two publishers is unknown at this time.
Barton & Co. published one series for juveniles.

The cover format of the Barton books is the same as that used by Sheldon, Blakeman & Co. in 1857 as well as Evans & Brittain in the mid 1850's. The Sheldon, Blakeman books were printed by Joseph Barton while he was at the 15 Beaver street address in 1858. See: 19th Century Juvenile Series - Indestructible Pleasure Book
The Barton & Co. series was published in about 1858. Prior to 1858 Barton was at 15 Beaver Street. Since the inscription on one of the covers below is 1858, that is indicative of the date of publication.
