Anthony Joseph Drexel Biddle and his brother-in-law Alexander Bradley established Drexel-Biddle & Bradley in late 1895. In 1897 the firm was succeeded by Drexel Biddle. R. F. Fenno Company purchased the publications of Biddle-Drexel in 1904.
Anthony Joseph Drexel Biddle Sr. (1874-1948) was born into banking money. He had careers as a publisher, professional boxer, newspaper editor, sports reporter and author. Biddle’s family was portrayed in a Disney movie, The Happiest Millionaire. Fred MacMurry played Biddle.
This firm published one series for juveniles.

Two formats have been seen.
The first editions of both books were published in cloth with black,
colors and gilt covers. Each book has a unique cover illustration. 6"
x 8.5"
The first edition of book #1 was published by Drexel-Biddle &
Bradley.
