William Beverley Harison, New York
William B. Harison (1859-1937) was born in New York. After working in the book trade for more than two decades, Harison established his own firm in 1890. He dealt mainly with school books and published a few titles. In 1897 William Beverley Harrison became a director of the newly incorporated Great Round World Company. This firm published the weekly newspaper for boys and girls, "Great Round World". There is evidence that the company was active at least between 1890 and 1906 although Harrison declared bankruptcy both in 1899 and 1904. It appears after 1907 Harison entered into the bookseller business.
Two series for juveniles have been noted.
