Jordan Marsh & Company, Boston
Jordan Marsh was a department store that sold a little bit of everything. It was founded by Eben Dyer Jordan and Benjamin L. Marsh in 1841. Book publishing was an almost insignificant part of the store's sales/ output.
It published one series of books of juveniles.

The first editions of the books in this series were published by Jordan Marsh & Company.
Reprints of #1 have been noted in 1890 and 1891. Reprints of #2 were noted in 1889, 1890 and 1892. No change in the formats has been appreciated.
The first editions of both books note 1888 on the title page. Book #1 was released in December of 1887.
Charles Scribner's Sons reprinted these titles a number of times between 1893 and the 1920's.
Book #1 was illustrated by F. G. Attwood.
Book #2 was illustrated by Kurtz and F. T. Merrill
