De Witt C. Lent & Co., New York
Lent established his own firm in 1870 after working for Sheldon & Co. for a number of years. It was mainly a bookselling concern but it did publish a number of titles. It was initially located at 451 Broome Street. By 1881 Lent was at 30 Park Place. Lent died in 1894.
