The early format of this series was co published with Cottrell while
McLoughlin was at the 24 Beekman Street. (1854-1858).
Also these books can be divided into earlier and later issues by
looking at the prices of the Pleasure Books on the back cover. The 6
cents plain / 9 cents colored are earlier prices than 6.25/12.5 cents
prices.
