James Miller published the Aimwell books beginning in 1875. These editions are all reprints. The series had previously been published by Gould & Lincoln. Later Thomas R. Knox & Co. printed these sets.
Miller divided the series into three different boxed sets. The Aimwell Series could be purchased in a seven volume boxed set ($8.75) or in either one of two smaller sets (4 title boys $5.00 or three title girls $3.75).
