In 1861 and 1862 the books were 18 mo. (6.5" x 4.5"). Thereafter
they were 16 mo. (6.75" x 4.5").
These titles were reprinted numerous times. Editions have been seen in
1860, 1862, 1863, 1865, 1866, 1867, 1868, and 1871. Editions in the
other years have not been seen but are likely to exist.
Cloth. Various colors. Blindstamped with embossed cover patterns and
gilt spine lettering and decorations for editions until 1871. In
1871 the front cover has gilt lettering and a black line drawn
decorative pattern.
