In September, 1873 this series had six books but the titles were
different from the later series' listings.
Rhoda Thornton was not part of the series and Seven Daughters which was
later part of the Maidenhood Series was included as #6.
The earliest edition Doctor's Daughter was not part of this series.
Uniform with the Maidenhood Series.
Book 6 has been advertised as "Rhoda Brandon's Childhood"
The series started in 1872.
Cloth. Red, blue and green seen. Gilt illustrations and lettering
on the cover and spine. The spine is the same for all the books but the
cover illustrations are unique for each book. 7" x 5.25"
