This series was published by James Miller in about 1875. It had previously been printed as a boxed set by Gould & Lincoln. Subsequently it was published by Thomas R. Knox & Co.
Red and lavender cloth seen. Black lettering and decoration on the cover. Spine has a gilt letter box with black decorations. 18 mo.
The earlier Miller editions in 1875 and 1876 have the 647 Broadway address on the title page. Beginning in 1877 the books from this series note the 779 Broadway address on the title page.
