This series was originally published by Lewis Colby in 1853. Sheldon,
Lamport & Co. bought the stock of Colby in 1855. Its successor,
Sheldon, Blakeman & Co. published this series as the Little Folks'
Library in 1856 with a reprint in 1859. Sheldon & Co. published
these books subsequently beginning in 1859 calling its series Aunt
Mary's Stories.
