This series name was noted between 1863-1865.
By September, 1865, the series was called the Boat Club Series.
Format 1.
This format is an extremely rare variant published in 1863. Whether it
is the true Lee and Shepard first edition or a limited print run
special copy is not known.

Cloth. Various colors. Blindstamped, Gilt lettering and picture on
the spine.
