Published by S. Colman in about 1846.
Edward Livermore published these six titles in its "Stories for
Childhood" series between 1847 and 1858. The nine book Livermore
series also included the three volumes from Colman's "Stories for
Childhood" series. The Livermore format is the same as the format
shown below.There are ads that state that by 1847 Colman's "Parent's
Library" included all nine books. This is not confirmed.
Illustrated
Most likely, as with the "Stories for Childhood Series", there is an earlier format of these books. It has not been seen.
