Although this series is for older girls, it is included because
readers of Sophie May (Rebecca Sophia Clarke) may very well have continued onto these stories
after reading her other books.
The Doctor's Daughter was previously in the Girlhood Series. Our Helen
and the Asbury Twins previously were in the Maidenhood Series.
This series was introduced in 1882 with volumes #1-4. The other two
books were added later.
Here is a 7" x 4.75" pamphlet which advertises the series. It has 12
pages and notes the first five titles in the series.
