originally cost 65 cents each.
By 1864 the books cost 90 cents each.
Many of books were co-published with Gould and Lincoln, Boston.
Subsequent reprints were published by Thomas Y. Crowell & Co.
In 1864 different blindstamped covers with the same spine have been
noted. It appears that the brown cover below is the earlier 1864 format
(of the two shown here).
