Lee and Shepard formats are not first editions. The Lee and Shepard
series was introduced in 1871.
It was reprinted into the mid-1880's.
Cloth. Various colors seen. Blindstamped. Gilt lettering on the
spine. Each book has a unique gilt illustration on the bottom of
the spine. 7" x 4.75".
