Adams & Co., Boston

John S. Adams was the principal of Adams & Co. In 1865 Adams & Co. succeeded Amsden & Co. and set up operations at 21 Bromfield St. This firm specialized in parlor games, fireworks and novelties. It published a number of books - mainly in the 1870's.

Adams & Co. published this series in about 1867-1868. The first editions were published by Walker, Wise & Co. (Volume #1) and Walker, Fuller & Co. (Volumes #2-4)
