Initially twelve separate parts were advertised as comprising the
series. It appears however that twenty-one were eventually printed.
Titles that have actually been seen are noted with an asterisk.
These books were all published in 1850. They were illustrated by
Harrison Weir and John Absolon.
In addition to the single volumes, in 1850 Baker published an omnibus
book, "A Treasury of Pleasure Books" which included all included of the
above stories. The large volume also included History of Little Goody
Two-Shoes which may not have been part of the series. Grant and
Griffith, a London firm also published this volume.
Wraps. Decorative cover pattern with the name of the series, title and
publisher also on the cover. 28 pages not including the covers.
