Clement & Packard, New York City
Christopher C. Clement and Joseph Packard established their firm in June, 1841. The new company succeeded Taylor (J. Orville Taylor) & Clement. There is no evidence of any publications produced by this firm after 1842. Clement died at the age of 31 in 1843.
There is evidence that this company published one series for
juveniles. I have seen some miscellaneous chapbooks published by this
firm but not in a known series.
