Concordia Publishing Company, St. Louis
This outfit was founded in 1869 as the publishing company for the Lutheran Church. Initially most of its publications were in German. As time went on however books and periodicals in English were the mainstay.
I know of two 19th century series published by this firm.
A 31 volume series was published in German in 1895. Because of
difficulties with translations, I have not included it here.
