Leonard Publishing Company, Albany

The Leonard Publishing Company was an Albany based firm that was a bookseller, publisher, printer and engraver. It was active in the 1890's. In the mid-1890's the firm was publishing periodicals (Everybody's Magazine, Little Folks' Paper, etc.), books, and sheet music.

Only two juvenile series were published by this firm. Both were previously published by Robert Carter and Brothers. Although no author is noted, all of the titles were written by Mrs. S. S. Robbins. These volumes are quite scarce.

(This book was published by Leonard Publishing Company but the plates were from the previous printing by Robert Carter and Brothers since the title page notes the latter company’s imprint.)
