Two 1843 formats have been seen. The earlier 1843 books note Rufus
Merrill & Co. on the cover and the title page. The later 1843-1849
versions notes Rufus Merrill & Co. on the title page but Rufus
Merrill on the cover.

picture. Twenty pages including the covers. 4.25" x 2.625".

Sometime after 1850 Rufus Merrill published "Child's Book of 100
Pictures". This volume was comprised of six titles in this series:
Book of Pictures, Girls' and Boys' Primer, Nursery Rhymes, Gems for
Boys and Girls, Child's Picture Book, and Book about Animals.
