These books were published by Cory and Daniels in 1834 and 1835. Each
volume had 22-24 pages. The covers have been seen in several colors.
The illustrations on the front covers appear to be randomly placed and
not book specific. These chapbooks were 5.5" x 3.5".
Geo. P. Daniels published this set a number of times (1836, 1838,
1839, 1843, 1845, 1847 and 1848 have been seen). Weeden and Peek, its
successor also published these books. The twelve titles remained
constant but year to year the numbering changed. The cover
illustrations were randomly placed such that a specific picture may
have been placed on several different titles and each title may have
had more than one cover illustration. The contents of each title did
not vary however.
