Noted between 1858 and 75-76. This series was published earlier by John McLoughlin.
Between 1886-1892 this series was partially reprinted. Six
titles were done: #2, 4, 6, 8, 9, and 10. 16 pages, 8 vo. Eight full
page black and white illustrations.
The earliest books have the 24 Beekman Street address on the
cover which indicates an 1859-1862 timeframe. Later the 30 Beekman
address was noted for books published between 1862-1868. Later formats
have not been seen.
