This twelve book series was no longer advertised after 1862.

This series was originally published by Lewis Colby in 1853. Sheldon, Lamport & Co. bought the stock of Colby in 1855. Its successor, Sheldon, Blakeman & Co. published this series as the Little Folks' Library in 1856 and Sheldon & Co. published these books subsequently beginning in 1859.

Reprinted in 1863, 1864, 1865, 1866 and 1871.
