in about 1891. #6-8 were published in 1892. #9 was first published in
1893.
By 1894 all nine books were being published by Ward, Lock & Bowden
Ltd.

Cloth. Gilt spine and cover lettering. Books #1-6 have a red panel on
the top of the cover stating "Beeton’s Boy’s Own Books" and "Edited by
G. A. Henty”.
The cover illustration on the bottom right is book specific.
The rest of the cover illustration is the same for each book. 8 vo.
