This series was published Hurst & Co. between 1891 and 1897. Previously these titles were part of the six volume "Blue Bells Series for Juveniles" which Hurst & Co. printed from 1881-1890.

Later in 1898 books #1 and #3 were part of the publishers series: Epworth Library. In 1899 the Epworth Library was called the Pearl Library without any change in the cover format.
