E. O. Libby and Co. published this library in 1858.
The first six titles are basically the same as the books that made up Libby's "Youth Cabinet" published later in 1858. The titles are subtly different. Ads note that the first six titles are books of "nature and art". The last four volumes contain stories and poetry. They were also advertised as non-series books. The content of the first six volumes were contained in their entirety within the 1857 "Manual for the Arts" published by James French. Hill & Libby published this book later in 1857 and E. O. Libby and Company printed it in 1858.
