This series was first published by Leavitt & Allen in 1858. The spines of the books note “The Bo-Peep Story Books” whereas the blindstamped cover has “ Little Folks Books” embossed.
Each Bo-Peep Story Book includes six different stories. For identification purposes the first listed story is shown in the book title list above.

Cloth as well as stiff paper wrapper formats have been noted.
Cloth. Various colors. Little Folks Books embossed on the front cover. Gilt series title and decoration is on the spine. Each book has one of its six stories in gilt on the spine. Some publications of this series note "Little Folks’ Books" on the top of the title page as opposed to "Bo-Peep Story Books”. The priority has not been established. 5.25” x 4.25”.
