This series was introduced by Phillips, Sampson and Company in 1856.
All the volumes are translated from the German.
Although Phillips, Sampson and Co. grouped these titles together as a
series, the books all have different formats. “Bright Pictures” has the
same formats as the “Vacation Story Books"
A fifth Cousin Fannie book from 1857 entitled "Golden Hours for Good
Children" may or may not be part of this series.

has embossed decoration and picture of three children. Deluxe editions
have gilt on all the embossing on the cover. Spine has gilt

There is no evidence that this Cousin Fannie book published by
Phillips, Sampson and Company in 1857 is part of the series.
