This series was introduced by James Miller in 1875. It was sold as a boxed set. By 1876 the six books of this series were also sold as two separate boxed sets. #1-3 were sold as Chambers' Happy Hour Library. #4-6 were sold as Chambers' Library of Instructive Amusement.
The Miller editions are reprints. The series was published later by Thomas R. Knox & Co. in 1885.
