Hurst & Co. published this series beginning in 1897 with titles #1-59. These books are meant for juveniles. In 1898 titles were added such that the series had 90 titles. In 1899 the name “Epworth Library” was discontinued and the series was renamed "Pearl Library for Young People". Other titles were added in 1900.
