These two books were published by Crosby, Nichols and Company. Although they were not officially designated as a series, the second book was published in the same format because of the popularity of volume #1.
The books came within a box which also included six colored figures and a stand to place the figures. Fanny Gray was the first American boxed set of paper dolls. There is one head which can be moved between the dolls.
Book is in wraps. Box is 8.5" x 6.75"
("Harry and Aggie" has not been seen.)
