Note that the front cover circle became larger in 1868.
The first four titles were sold as a boxed set for $5.00 in 1865.
Several of these titles have revised text after the first editions.

Beginning in April 1873 the Castlemon books were published by Porter
and Coates with the R. W. Carroll imprint also noted on the title
page.
Note the clear difference in circle sizes. Smaller circle (pre-1868).
