This series was introduced in 1888. All the ads note "Good and
Great" Series but the book cover says "Great and Good" Series.
None of these titles are first editions. All of the titles had been
previously published in different formats and / or different series.
This series is one of the Lee and Shepard's "Dollar Juvenile
Libraries".
Title #4 has also been advertised as "Perils of the Sea Among the
Whalers" and "There She Blows! or, The Log of the Arethusa".
Cloth. Mustard color. Line drawn design and lettering on the front
cover. Gilt lettering on there spine. 7" x 5".
