Brown, Taggard and Chase co-published the first edition of volume #1
with Howe and Ferry. Volume #3 was published by Brown and Taggard with
Howe and Ferry. I presume but am not sure that Brown and Taggard
published #1 and #2.
In 1862, all five volumes were published by Fred'k A. Brown & Co.
I am not certain whether Brown and Taggard published #4 and #5 with or
without Howe and Ferry as a co-publisher.
There is no evidence that Taggard and Thompson published this series.
Howe and Ferry published all five books on its own imprint for certain
by 1864.
Format is the same for all of these publishers.
