The series was first published by John E. Potter in 1865. By 1866 the
titles noted John E. Potter & Co. as the publisher. In about 1867
a one volume, clothbound crown quarto book, "Grandfather's Stories"
contained all these titles.
These books were published into the late 1870’s.
Illustrated
The 1865-1867 volumes had either plain pictures or oil pictures.
Later the oil pictures were replaced with illuminated illustrations.

None of these books have been seen.
