in 1866. Davis, Porter & Coates was succeeded by Porter &
Coates in 1867. At this point in time the "Toy Books" of these three
companies that I have seen have the same covers and contents with the
exception of the imprint name on the front cover. Below is the pictures
of a book from this series published by Davis, Porter & Co.
