Initially the "Young Pilgrim" along with "Alfred Campbell" was part of a two book series about Alfred Campbell and his travels. For more about that series see: Alfred Campbell Series. The "Young Cadet" is unrelated in subject material to these other books. The two Hofland books included here are considered a series because of the common author and format. They are reprints and the exact date of their publication its unknown. (Mid-late 1840's)
