This series was advertised as being "in press" in both wraps and
linen in 1867. The earliest books seen has a copyright of 1869.
Wraps and linen. Each book has a 2/3 page colored illustrations. 16
pages including the covers. 8 vo.
1883 copyrighted titles were noted as format 2.
This series had a new edition with 1891 copyrighted books. The series
still had six titles but there were changes.
