This series was introduced by E. P. Dutton & Co. in 1880.
Sold individually or as a boxed set.
Child's Influence was also in Dutton's “Christmas Library”.
Two formats have been noted. No priority is known.
The second format has been seen with Dutton as the primary publisher
as well as the secondary (co-publisher). The second format appears to
have been a generic one for the English publisher, Griffith and
Farran. The Dutton book may just be an early import for the title and
not specifically for this series/library.
