These titles were published in a number of years. It appears the first issues were in 1856. They were only sold as a boxed set. A book that contained all the titles was published in 1858.

These books only have words of a single syllable. Sixteen colored pictures each book.

Little Harry's Book of Poetry was issued at about the same time but was sold by itself at a slightly higher cost. It was not part of this series.

Cloth. Maroon. Blindstamped with embossed pattern. Gilt on spine. Square. 4.5" x 5.5"
