Copyright for all the books is 1868 but the first edition imprints
are 1869. These volumes were released on September 15, 1868. Reprints
have been noted in 1870, 1871 and 1872.
The six titles were sold individually for 25 cents or as a boxed set.
They were sold with the six title Bessie's Country Stories in a 12
title boxed set called the "Violet Stories".
Two formats were noted in the Bessie's Country Stories volumes. Go to
that site to see the later format 1872 edition.
Note that it is very likely that this series has books that were
published in the same format.
Cloth. Multiple colors seen. Blindstamped. Title in gilt on the
spine. 4.5" x 3".
