Stories for Adelaide is a reprint having been previously published in 1829 by Thomas T. Ash. Stories for Helen is a book of four short stories that had previously been published in the 1833 volume, "Atlantic Tales", published by Munroe & Francis. The stories were revised for this printing. Helen was published in 1845. Adelaide was published in 1843.
