These books were put together as a boxed set in 1867. The series was subsequently published into the late 1880's with number of different editions. 1867, 1869, 1874, 1875, 1876, 1877, 1878, 1879, 1881, 1883, 1884 and 1889.

"Ministering Children" was published as early as 1858 by Carter and in 1857 by John C. Riker, a New York publisher. The early titles before 1867 were not part of this series however. "Ministering Children" was part of the Fireside Library in 1863.

The Books also were published in two 12 mo. volumes

In 1872 Robert Carter & Brothers published a combination book which included both titles.

Cloth. Brown or green. Blindstamped. Gilt lettering on the spine. 7.5" x 5".

Format 2. (Late 1870's and later)
Cloth. Black lettering on the cover with gilt spine lettering.
These volumes were published in 16 mo and 12 mo sizes.
