Earliest seen copyrights on these books is 1856. During the
publication of these titles Dill was at 29 and 31 Beekman. This
indicates an 1856 or 1857 publication.
Wraps. Various colors. Book appropriate cover picture. 7" x 10.5". 16
pages including the covers. 12.5 cents each.
This is the last John McLoughlin format for this series. Note that the
ads on the back of the booklet have a McLoughlin Brothers ad. The
"McLoughlin Brothers" name was not used until 1858. Thus the books with
the colored covers (as one would expect) are the latest editions.
