Volumes #1,2,4 and 5 were anonymously authored and all part of the
Hillside Library published by Henry Hoyt in the early 1860’s.
These books were introduced in series form in 1875. By 1876 they were
all also part of the Centennial Cheap Library No. 1.
Each book has several full page line drawn illustrations.
