These volumes were reprinted numerous times. Volumes published in 1848 or earlier note Robert Carter as the imprint. In 1849 or later, Robert Carter & Brothers is the imprint.

Both books were also part of the Fireside Libary, Third Series.

There is a one volume book that combined both titles. My School-Boy Days and My Youthful Companion. It was first released by Robert Carter & Brothers in December, 1848 (Title page 1849). An early copy of it is shown just below. It was reprinted a number of times.
