3. How to Be a Lady (Copyright 1846 Gould, Kendall and Lincoln)

These books (#1-4) were published numerous times between the late 1840's into the 1870's.
The title pages are dated and frequently note an edition number (or a number published), so dating the editions is quite easy.

I believe that the first edition title pages of books #1 and #3 note 1847 at the base of the title page-but am not certain. In a similar vein, I believe that the first edition of the “Anecdotes” books have 1848 at the base of the title page.

Gould, Kendall and Lincoln editions were published until 1850. Thereafter the publisher was Gould and Lincoln.
