The “Stories about Nellie” Seres was introduced in 1873 by Henry
Hoyt. In 1877 the “Nellie Series” had only three volumes as the six
books from the earlier "Stories about Nellie” were combined into three
editions.
This series was published by both Henry Hoyt and Henry Hoyt
& Co. The Henry Hoyt & Co. (1878) series has only three
volumes.
